Khichdi is a common comfort food in all parts of India. Each state makes it a little differently, but it usually contains some vegetables or nuts, a few spices, and a wheat and lentil mixture. Our khichdi is made of semolina flour mixed with vegetables, spices, and turmeric. Packed with protein, carbohydrates and nutrients, this is great as a one pot meal!
